ÅÔÅÌÁ was established by the Mechanical–Electrical Engineer Mr. Dimitrios N. Nikolalou. It was the first company in Greece that was involved with the supply, installation and maintenance of special equipment for ski centers.

In 1982, Mr. Nikolaou gets in touch with the Mechanical Engineer Mr. Konstantinos Karamertzanis, who was the technical manager of the Parnassos ski center from 1976 until 1984. The business collaboration of the two engineers holds until today.

The year 2001 is a landmark in the history of ETEMA, because it signals the assignment of the company’s rights from Mr. Nikolaou to Mechanical Engineer Mr. Panagiotis K. Karamertzanis, son of Konstantinos Karamertzanis.

ÅÔÅÌÁ, having already entered the era of a third generation of Mechanical Engineers, aims at continuing the successful operation of the past decades and at expanding its business activities, making use of the experience acquired throughout the years and its highest level of technical know-how.
